Roland Angle graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, served in the U.S. Army Special Forces, where he was trained in the use of explosives, and became a licensed civil engineer in California. His fifty years of engineering experience has included designing and testing blast-hardened missile launch facilities and designing U.S. Naval explosive containers, harbor terminal facilities, earth foundation systems, and hydraulic systems.

In addition, Angle has owned three construction companies and has taught engineering subjects to high school students. He was skeptical of the official explanation for the failure of the World Trade Center towers but did not investigate in depth until he heard a presentation on the radio by AE911Truth founder Richard Gage several years after the attack. After doing further research, he signed the AE911Truth petition and began to devote long hours to uncovering the truth about the events of 9/11.

In 2016, Angle was invited to join the board. He became its chairman and the non-profit's chief executive officer in October 2021.

Kamal Obeid holds a Masters Degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He has been a practicing civil and structural engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1980 and a licensed structural engineer since 1985.

During his career, Obeid has served as engineer of record on many building design and retrofit projects. He specializes in structural steel building analysis as well as investigating structural failures of steel-framed buildings.

At one point he served as a volunteer for the Office of Emergency Services (FEMA), investigating earthquake failures. Obeid is a long-time member of the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California and has served on several of its Code and Business Forum committees.

Tom Spellman has an undergraduate degree in architecture (with a minor in civil engineering) from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He managed a housing co-op for fifteen years and was an accountant for five years.

In late 2002, he learned that the official story of the World Trade Center’s destruction could not be true. Upon hearing Dr. Steven Jones state that random fires and damage could not produce a symmetrical collapse, Spellman understood that explosives had to be involved.

Later he contacted AE911Truth founder Richard Gage to clarify technical points made during a presentation and was invited to join the weekly team calls as a volunteer. He has served as treasurer of the Board of Directors ever since.

Andy Steele received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida in 2001 — the same year as the event that, unbeknownst to him, would one day compel him to become a full-time activist for truth and justice. In 2004, Steele joined the Peace Corps and served as a teacher and community organizer in Uzbekistan. Some months after returning to the States, he began researching the events of 9/11.

So deeply was he moved by what he discovered that he decided to become an independent journalist so he could educate others about the World Trade Center evidence.

In 2010, Steele began to volunteer for AE911Truth and five years later was hired as manager of operations. In that capacity, he coordinates the work of AE911Truth’s volunteers and oversees its day-to-day organizational functions. In addition to his regular duties, Steele hosts the 9/11 Free Fall podcast, an half-hour weekly show that focuses on discussing AE911Truth’s activities and features experts on subjects related to the World Trade Center destruction.

Ronald Brookman is a licensed structural engineer in the state of California.

He obtained B.S. Civil Engineering (1984) and M.S. Structural Engineering (1986) degrees from the University of California, Davis, and has over 23 years experience in structural analysis, design, evaluation, and rehabilitation of buildings in northern California.

Tony Szamboti is a mechanical design engineer with over 25 years of structural design experience in the aerospace and communications industries.

Since 2006, he has authored or co-authored a number of technical papers on the WTC high-rise failures that are published at AE911Truth.org, in the Journal of 9/11 Studies, and in the International Journal of Protective Structures.
